Joseph Aloba, the late singer Mohbad’s father, has denied his daughter-in-law Wunmi’s accusations that he rehabilitated the nurse responsible for his son’s murder.
According to Report, Mohbad’s widow, Wunmi, said during an interview with Chude Jideonwo on February 19, 2025, that her late husband’s father prevented them from arresting the nurse who gave the singer the shot that caused his death.
Aloba responded to Wunmi’s accusation on Tuesday during a TikTok live session, saying, “I have never laid my eyes on the nurse. We have not met physically. If I’d seen her, it would have been on the internet.
“I had no discussion with the nurse at all. I’ve never mentioned the nurse since I began recounting Mohbad’s experience that night. I didn’t see any nurses there, and no one introduced them to me.”
Aloba’s statement came only hours after a Lagos State Magistrate court exonerated Naira Marley, Sam Larry, and PrimeBoy of any participation in Mohbad’s murder, although the nurse will face charges.
