Mudashiru Obasa, the former speaker of the Lagos State House of legislative, has stormed the legislative building.
Obasa entered the Speaker’s Office at 12 p.m. on Thursday, accompanied by some security officers.
The development came when Speaker Mojisola Meranda’s security advisers withdrew.
Segun Ajiboye, Meranda’s Chief Press Secretary, acknowledged the recent developments in a brief message on Thursday, accusing Obasa and his colleagues of reportedly breaking into the office.
The assembly has been embroiled in leadership crisis since Obasa’s removal as speaker and subsequent election on Meranda.
